1995 Le Sabre Security Light Stays On

Luckily, the car will start without any problems. I would like to avoid any costly repairs since I have had so many in the past year and a half. Would having my key replaced be of any help? I have read other forums regarding bypassing the security system so this problem will not occur. Does the ignition drum assembly need replacing? I would like to resolve this problem before there are any future problems.

Replacing the security key may help. Can you lock and unlock the doors remotely?

Make sure all of the wires to the security control module are properly connected and not shorted.
