Hello, I have a 1994 Toyota Camry with a few different problems. Primarily, the car will run fine for a distance of a mile or five miles, but then all of a sudden, the gas becomes unresponsive and the car dies. I can get the car to rev, but it will not turn over at all. After maybe an hour, it'll crank and I can drive it for another mile or two before the same thing happens. I've taken it to Firestone and they're saying I need a new distributor and ignition igniter assembly. I'm on my way to the military and only need the car for a few more months. I only have the money to fix one of the problems, so I'm looking for whatevers causing the engine to cutoff while driving. Please, if there's anyone that can help, let me know.
