Ford dealer replaced both rear air suspension bags. But now the air compressor airs up the bags and rises the car body and does not adjust to the proper height. Also the dash light displays check air suspension. My guess is when I load the rear of the car with people, full tank of fuel, and 200 pounds in the trunk the compressor airs up the air bags. After all the load of people, fuel and trunk weight is removed the bags do not release the air pressure. And the car body looks like it is in 4-wheel drive mode.

This is going to have to be scanned to see if any solenoids are sticking in back as well as if the module in trunk is good or not and telling pump to shut off. Or the sensor may be screwed up as well. You might go in back and see if any wires are disconnected.

Sounds to me like a bad vent solenoid in the compressor.

Short term, you'll need to replace the compressor/dryer:

Long term, replace the dryer a couple times within a 6 month period. This is to absorb the accumulated moisture from the system.

For even less than the compressor, you could do a coil spring conversion
