Why wont 4 wheel drive work

94 ranger, pushed 4 wheel drive hi button and it went into 4 wheel high, then pushed 4 wheel drive low, the 4 wheel high light went out and now buttons wont work at all. Whats wrong?

It could be a few things. Check the actuator that is located on the transfer case to make sure it is getting power. They are known to go bad. If there is power, remove the actuator and check for operation. If there is no power, check wiring for damage or corrosion, check relay, and check the switch itself.
