Engine idles real rough

Car runs great on top end--when you push pedal in far enough----checked vacuum lines can't find anything amiss in that dept.

where is exhaust snorkel and why does car idle rough and too fast---should I check spark plugs? Have replaced them and wires--just put water pump and new belts on it----car starts right up----didn't yet check vacuum line to block and fuel pump---havein trouble finding it and the thing called a canister

What is cel light? Don't think it works have to use remote starter switch ---?
