Suburban brake lights

I got a 94 chevy suburban and the brake lights work off and on I replaced the brake light switch but still work sometimes and dont work most of the time

Check to see if the 3rd (high mount) brake light continues to work when the lower 2 don't. If so, you have a bad turn signal/combination switch in the steering column. The lower 2 lights "only" pass through that switch.

None of the lights work its not just the lower two.

Then you have a problem with the brake light switch, the power to it or the wiring in between, assuming the bulb isn't burnt out of the 3rd light.

The brake lights switch was replace about 3 weeks ago. Guess I will have to find someone to check out the wiring. Thanks for the help and quick answers
