The encoder motor is the highest failure on the tcase so check to see if it is getting power or not. If not it will need to be scanned for codes. The encoder may be getting power but not working.

Sorry screwed up on this one see pics for problems to check and see if the electric clutch with wire is getting power you'll see it on case if it is then it may be a linkage problem or the clutch isn't engaging.
