1993 Chevrolet S-10 Ground

The truck will start but when I cut on the lights the truck will die and no lights will turn on. Wait a couple of hours and it will start again. Let run for a while and then cut the lights on and it's ok. Why?

Have your battery checked for condition including load test, and charging system checked. It may need a belt and tensioner as it may be slipping those should be replaced at 60k
