Starting problems

Please tell me the circumstances. The possibilities are too great to begin with guessing, I need more information.

The car turns over but wont start. I have checked the fuses and relays and are all ok. There is no power to fuel pump but it works when bridged to battery and there is no spark from spark plugs

So the engine will crank, but there isn't any spark or power to the fuel pump. OK, lets go to checking the relays. The main and fuel pump relays are located next to the fuse box. There are three relays under a black plastic lid, they are main, fuel pump and oxygen sensor relays. The main relay has 5 prongs and the other two have 4. Check to see that the main relay is pulling in when cranking and that it is sending power to pins numbered 87.
