Still no luck after starter fluid. Could it be the crankshaft and postioning or sensor?

If it won't start with starting fluid, you aren't getting spark to the plugs. So yes, a crank sensor can cause that.

Well good news and bad news haha

Good news it was nothin serious and just needed gas hahahaha
However the oil pan was damaged and needed to be replaced
Did that

Bad news is the shop people didn't notice HALF MY DASH doesn't light up now.

(( After they did the job and I was already home I noticed it only the rpm gauge lit up and fuel gauge side.))) "Notice I said they did the job on the oil pan already and never drive the car at night because they close at 5."

now since there shop closes at 5 and it doesn't get dark till then.
The lights in there shop would make the dash look like it lit up but it actually isn't. I asked for a full diagnostic before they did the oil pan repair, why did they not check that?

And before I took it to them to get a full diagnostic my dash lit up fully.

Now I'm stuck with a half lit dash and can't drive at night.
What should I do about all this?

Check both #s 4 and 6. I looked at my manual and it seems that is where it would fall.
