1992 Jeep Cherokee.I think it might have do something with fuel. But im not sure. What makes the tac go up. It spits and sputters untill you get it at 3000 rpms or higherlike it hesitates. Please help me out. Thanks

Sounds like the crank position sensor is faulty or loose or slightly bent. However, it is necessary to check fuel pressure and spark, when this is happening

Crank sensor is brand new. And so are the spark plugs. Fuel pump was changed a while ago also. Like year ago. Fuel filter is brand new too.

Check the idle air control valve and fuel pump relay, you may also want to clean out the throttle body and check the "accordian" hose that comes from the airfilter box to the throttle body for cracks and holes, repair if it is, one more thing would be to check/clean the egr valve
