I just recently bought this car

I just recently bought this car. At first I thought the fuel gauge was on full but I then started to drive it for a while and it wasnt going down. When I shutoff the car all the gauges go down except the fuel gauge. I asked the previous owner and he told me it just randomyl went out and he doesnt know what it could be. Any ideas please?

Either a failed sender in the tank or the dash unit is bad

The sender does not have the pump. The second one may not have the sender.

You need the sender unit.
