Hi I have a 92 chevy Lumina 3.1L 6 cylinder 4 door, the cars check engine light comes on and the car will flood its self when trying to pull away from a stop or sputters while moving. I have replaced the idle positioning senser, idle air intake, erg, ecm, map senser, all air hoses, spark plugs and wires but still seem to be having the same problem. Any Ideas?

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.

Could be running rich due to the following

1. Fuel pressure not within specs. Can be cause by restricted fuel return line or defective fuel pressure regulator.
2. Defective Oxygen Sensors.
3. Leaking injectors.
4. Coolant temperature sensor out of calibration.
5. Restricted air intake system.
