Okay, so I have seen a lot of this and read multiple post about. I have the car listed above I got a couple months. Ago drove fine only problem had to turn the key a couple times for it to catch figured it was a starter going bad. Drove it for about a week and stopped to put gas hopped back in and wouldn't turn over, had all my lights on my dash all my gauges battery good. Since got it to where I can diagnose it to a point but trying to see which route is better for me to try to fix it or a shop. Since I have taken the starter off tested good did not test voltage at starter got resistor to bypass vats which was good in first place, I assume have two keys both will turn on dash and gauges. When placed in with no security light on neither will turn it over. Been parked for a week or two and the battery keeps draining, when I put cables to it jumps up right away and when they are off goes right back down but dash lights will stay on. Not sure if that's my problem. Could diagnose myself with a friend who has the tools and a computer but honestly nether of us know how to work the thing and I do not want to mess anything else up. If it is with the computer would rather have a pro do it, but of it is something mechanical I can do it just need to know more cost effective route because I'm going need to get it towed.

Hello,

Two things, first is the security light flashing when you try to crank it over? Seconds I have seen the positive battery cable cause this issue as well. Also is the starter an AC Delco unit?
