My nissan 300zx idles at 2000 rpm we have changed out the acc and aic and have checked for vaccum leaks. When you start it it will idle at 2000rpm if you unplug the acc and aic then it will drop to around 800rpm and you can plug th acc and the aic back up and it will stay at 800 rpm but as soon as you kill the car and start it again it goes back to the 2000 rpm. Do you have any idea what could be causing this problem?

Is the Check Engine Light indicating?

Did you try to check for trouble codes?

Problem seems to be from the IAC/ACCV circuit and it could be due to a faulty ECM or its wiring circuits.

Were sysmtoms exactly the same ( rpm exactly similar) between the original and replaced components?

Were parts replaced new or used and of the correct model?
