Wont charge

My alternator is good, battery is good, but car won't charge. Cables are good, terminals are good. No shop I've taken it to can find out why. It has been doing this since 1994. Alternator light won't come on to say not charging. It is a three cyl made in Canada. Only car we can afford, but it is leaving us stranded way to much. I put the car on the charger twice a day and carry three batteries in back to go fifty miles. Please help!

Just to be sure we checked the battery and alternator the correct way to ensure they are good, here are a couple guides that show how to test these:

If these are testing okay, then we need to find out why the alternator is not turning on.

We need to start with a fusible link that supplies power to the alternator. Check this by checking voltage at the alternator on the white wire. If you have no voltage, then we need to replace the fusible link.
