My vehicle doesn't accelerate properly.

And conks out. Could this be my ignition coil and wires. The check engine light is on also. It just doesn't accelerate the gas mileage is next to nil. And it just stops running at the stop light.

If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned. Most parts stores will do it for free. Next, check to make sure the catalytic converter isn't plugged, make sure it doesn't need a good tune up, check for vacuum leaks.
