1991 Chevy S-10 blower motor problem

I have a 1991 chevy s-10 pickup. Blower motor for heater doesn't come on until I tap on the plastic housing on the firewall.

Sound's like you could have a loose connection to the blower motor or a bad blower motor. You will have to when it won't turn on put the fan speed on high and see if you have a good ground and full battery voltage to the motor when it's inop. If you do then you have a loose connection or a bad motor.
