Air Conditioning problem
1994 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 200k miles

my fan control works fine I can hear and feel the squirrel cage moving as well as feel a little bit of air coming from the vents. The doors for the vents also work when I switch the control. What else can be the problem? S10 also idles rough what can be the problem?

Could be an air mix/blend/mode door to include vacuum and actuator problems.

If fan is running and very little air can be felt from your cabin vents, possibly a vacum line within the ducting may be malfunctioning, not allowing proper duct doors to open and/or close fully. On older GM models, (82 Olds Delta & 84 Caprise Classic) the HIGH mode for blower fan operated from it's own seperate vaccum line linked directly into the rear of intake manifold, or module on the throttle body. They sometimes melt or dry out and break. Check any lines coming from heater blower to their end destination.

Other thing to look at. Rodents often times build their little nests causing blockage issues. Up northeast, they like it inside a warm insulated area when goes below 0 outside.
