I have a check engine light on in this car. I charged up this battery and then I retested the charging system. I found no problems with the alternator as it made no howling or screeching sounds. I tested the charging system twice and found no problems with the alternator and the battery is brand new. I received an email from your website stating that I should replace the fusible link in this car. I however got a computer code 41 which says that this code is present when battery voltage from the ASD is below 11.75 volts. Is this the same as the fusible link mentioned in the other email? Also where is the ASD in this car and is it the same thing as the automatic shutdown relay? Should I also get a new or rebuilt computer for this car? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Do I need to replace both the fusible link behind the battery and the ASD relay. Or do I need to replace just one and not he other. I have a ceck engine light on in the car and I used a scanner to get code 41 which said that the ASD relay is going below 11.5 volts. Also if it makes any difference my car is a 1990 and the picture in the email response is for 1991 to 1993.
