I changed the neutral safety switch but the brake lights stay on. All other lights-turn signals-running lights. The only way 2 get them to shut off is unplug the connection at/under the rear bumper

The brake light switch sounds like it needs adjustment or replacement here is a diagram to show you how. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

As I explained sir. That you have feedback in the ssytem. If a bulb is burnt or the power isnt grounding out that energy has to go somewhere doesnt it? A bad bulb could cause the windshield wipers to come on when you hit the brakes.

Hi, the voltage to the stop/haz fuse, is a live feed, hot all the time, that voltage doesn't come from the brake switch, comes from fusible link. B+ from battery supplies fusible links.

My info shows stop/hazard fuse for brake lites. If you used a testlite on the fuse circuit and no voltage, then, yes, check the fusible link. Voltage goes from fuse to brake switch, not the other way around. Maybe I misunderstood your post? I'm fixing to go watch US and Canada play hockey.

Head lights work. Brake lights work.

But the driverside brake light does not work when the head lights or parking lights are on.

Bake light in dash is on and pedal goes to the floor. Checked e-brake light gets brighter when depressed. Brake switch is adjusted. Figured it was master cylinder changed master cylinder and brake booster (wanted chrome one) still have the same problem. I have a good pedal when truck is off when it's running pedal goes to the floor. I am open to any sugestions that might be a fix to this problem. Thank You

Check the brake system if its leaking externally-no leak -check brake shoes adjustment if okay-recheck the master cylinder could be leaking internally
