1. Car overheats and fan will not turn on. Thermostat okay. How to repair fan?

2. Put in new carb, now idles too high. How to adjust idle?

Does not have a carb, fuel injected. Idle is not adjustable.

Did you see if the fan could work with a hot wire? It may be the control unit.

Check fan relay and fuses to the fan. If these are ok, verify the fan is getting power. If not, replace the fan. Also, turn on the AC. Does the fan turn on? IF so, suspect something in control circuit.

Idle adjust screw on the driver side of the engine. Left lowers idle. But, is the idle mix adjusted properly?
