Car quit while driving, restarted after a few min. Quit again 20 min later. Let sit and restarted next day, quit again in 20 min. Towed it home. Drained fuel tank and replaced pump, strainer and filter. Started and ran at idle 20 min, quit. So far have replaced IAC, inlet air temp sensor, crank position sensor, checked MAP sensor, cleaned oxygen sensor. Also changed coil pac and ignition module. Car will now stsrt and run very rough for 5 to 30 sec. Then once in a while after several trys will start and idle perfect with good throttle response for 30 t0 40 min then suddenly start idling rough and quit, then back to the start, rough idle cycle. Sure could use some input. Before this problem the car ran great. Have owned it since 1990.

Do you have a mass airflow sensor on this car if yes could be the prob but since you said you checked the map sensor you prob don't have one. When it dies you need to know the fuel pressure at that time this could also be a fuel pressure regulator prob or injector harness

Check the fuel pressure when it quits. When it quicks spray the intake will it start? Also do a leak down test on the fuel pressure.

No mass air sensor. When idling rough fuel pressure bounces between 40 and 42 when it dies it holds steady at 40 and does not leak down. Spraying intake does not help.

Dont know if this helps but fuel pressure will bounse between 40 and 42 for about 2 sec after it dies then hold syeady. Also after a few start and rough idle cycles code flashes 33 nothing else.
