On a 1989 camaro z28 ls2 engine, if the starter is bad will the voltage register on the dash panel? Had the battery cked, it's ok, alternator's ok. Could the IAC be the cause if it's gone bad?

We drove @ 2 miles then it sat for a half hour. When we went to start it again all it did was click click click. Tried to jump it nothing. Let it sit over night hoping it just needed to sit, went to restart nothing not even a click.

Already done that both check out fine, even had the battery on charger for 1hour to fully charge it. Reinstalled both still won't start. When turning the key, nothing happens. Could this all be caused by the IAC AND/OR STARTER?

Could be a blown fusible link, the starter, starter relay, park and neutral switch and ignition switch assuming the battery and connections are good. Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.
