The connection is your problem not the switch. Can u tie rap the connecter to tighten the connection. Hook it up and use a screw driver from the back of the connecter. Push the wire connecter onto the switch good. Gl

A better way would be to bend the terminals closed sounds like you have one bent open. Can you post the connector opening where it plugs into the switch?
