Engine won't start up?

1988 Honda Accord LX, 5 speed manual transmission, Carburetor(rebuilt less than 40k miles age), with over 200k miles. The car will not start. I've changed the distributor cap, rotor, plugs, wire set, pcv valve, primary and secondary fuel filters, air filter and checked that the choke isn't sticking. I've ascertained that the fuel pump is working, the car is receiving fuel, I don't hear any vacuum hose leaks and the coil is delivering a spark. Do you have any idea why my car refuses to start? Where should I begin?

Hello,

Ok, what color was the spark? It should be a Bright Bluish/White if Orange the spark is weak and won't start.

Have you checked the fuel pressure... Follow link below for procedure.

I didn't check the fuel pressure with a gauge but I did remove the fuel line and I turned the key; Fuel came out. The spark was bluish/white.

Ok, have you looked in the carb and to make sure fuel is being sprayed.

If everything seems to be right so far the next thing is the Timing Belt. You will need to check the timing marks.

Here is a way to check for the timing being off.

Bring #1 Cylinder to TDC on Compression Stroke remove cap pay attention to the #1 plug tower position if rotor is pointing at #1 plug tower within a degree or 2 then timing is most likely right. You can repeat proceedure a couple times to make sure.
