I have an 89 honda accord lxi. I've had this problem before. Remove the large plastic hose connected to the throttle body. Hold the hose away from the throttle body. Open the throttle body by turning the linkage on the side. You should see the flap inside the throttle body open and close. Keep the flap open and spray throttle body cleaner inside. You can buy this a Kragan or other auto supply store. Replace the hose. Try starting your car. You may have to do this a couple of times so the throttle body can open up and take in the cleaner. Your car should start.
