1988 Buick Lesabre transmission will not shift

Transmission only has low and reverse gear and overdrive stopped working a while back it did run low on fluid but happened all at once and only drove it maybe 3/4 of a mile when I found out the fluid was very low could it be a module or will I have to replace the transmission?

First and reverse work on the same clutch pack. If those are the only ones working and there is no check engine light on, chances are either there is problem with the valve body or the clutch pack for the other gears is worn or damaged.
