The truck starts fine and runs either 10 minutes or a couple of hours and then stops abruptly. I checked the flow of fuel through the filters and the pump and it seemed to be fine. I was informed it may be the TFI module on the distributor? I do live in Alaska and the outside temperature did seem to have an affect on the issue. Could it be symptoms of the fuel pump going out or could it be as simple as replacing the TFI module, or both?

Check your fuel pressure with a gauge first. If you have a brand auto parts they may have the gauge to rent.
Key On Engine Off 35 - 45 PSI, Key On Engine Running 27 - 37 PSI, Engine Running Vacuum hose Off 40 - 45 PSI.

Don't forget about volume of fuel. Roughly a pint in 30 seconds.I'm open to correction, on this though.
This is for a gas engine. You could check the module a lot of auto parts can do that.
