I have had starter checked it is ok, put on a new solinoid, a new key lock assem, a new ignition switch and when I try to hook up neg. Cable it arcs real bad And the starter cranks & starts the motor but starter keeps turning with motor running, I am afraid I will tear up fly wheel ring if I can not get it fixed soon please any suggestions

When the starter does not disengage, you need to check which portion of the circuit is holding on and not releasing.

Arcing when hooking up the negative cable indicates there is a short somewhere and if the starter starts cranking then, you need to check the starter motor connections.
