Put new fuel pump in, new fuel filter, can pump gas pedal 5 or 6 times than let off and start it, it will run for a minute then just shuts off. It's like you fill the carburetor up and than it runs dry and engine stalls.

So you have a fuel pump issue still. I understand you replaced it but if you are not getting fuel to the carb and can fill the bowl and it runs until it is dry then you are not getting fuel through the line.

If it were me, I would think about replacing this mechanical pump with an electric pump and ensure you are getting proper pressure.

However, the likely cause of this is this pump is run by an arm that rides on the cam or crank and as it spins there is a lobe that moves the pump arm up and down. This move a diaphragm inside the pump that creates the pressure to pull the fuel up from the tank and send it to the carburetor.

More than likely that arm is not getting moved up and down due to an issue with that lobe.

Please see the info below on this and let us know if you have other questions. Thanks
