1985 Toyota Pickup SR5 4x4, 22RE engine. When I turn the ignition key the truck will not start or it will delay a few seconds and then start. Any suggestions?

Have the fuel pressure checked.

Before starting, try cycling the ignition switch a few times, each time leaving the igntion ON for 2 seconds before turning off. If it is easierm to start, the fuel pressure could be low due to internal leaks.
