My voltage goes down when I turn anything on that pulls power and my headlights go dim and I replaced my aternator

The regulator is part of the alt, so that isn't the problem. Check to make sure the fuseable link is in good condition between the alt and the battery. Also, make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight. Also, check the main grounds to the engine block. If that is all good, drive the vehicle to a parts store and have them check the alt / regulator on the vehicle to see if it is producing enough power.
