I have a 1983 Toyota 1/2 deluxe it has a SBC swap and a auto manual gearbox I drove it during a test and it was fine but when I brought it home it died at a stop light. Before it died it backfired not a huge one after that it wouldn't start. It tired to turn over a few times but we ended up killing the battery. So once I got a new battery installed it should have been fine however it doesn't even make a noise when I try to start it now. I have a feeling the wires between the battery and the engine are bad potentially. Or their is a fuse that is burnt out is their a fuse box inside the engine that could cause this. Not I have looked at the fuses inside the cab and could locate a bad one. It just seems like the electricity is being short out somewhere and no making it to the engine at all. Need help/ assistance I don't have pictures right now but I will take some and upload them very soon

I am making a big assumption here check the fusible links in pic. This says diesel but may be same in your vehicle. Could also be a bad ignition switch or starter relay if you have one on it.
