Motor moves

I have a 77 cobra II and it quit on my on my way home from a 2 hour drive about 3/4's of the way home. When I try to start my car the motor moves almost like there is something jammed, it doesn't fire. What could this be? Thank you

To some extent, it is normal that it moves when it is cranked. If it isn't starting, check to see if there is spark and fuel to the engine. As far as the movement, if it is excessive, check for a broken motor mount.
