Does it completely die, as if the key was turned off---or does it struggle, as if it's running out of gas?

What speeds does it happen. Idle too?

The "Flutter Kick"--starting position mooove!

Tell me something important!

What elevation were you at, forever, before this issue?

What elevation are you at now?

Did you notice this problem progressing, as you got higher?

AIRBORNE!

Hmmm. One of Montgomery's hang in there Allied soldiers are here and the Philippine scouts, you're in good hands with All American's not All State. Is this carb an autolite or carter? Check the fuel pressure, volume and vacuum of the fuel pump and report back asap

Raz-See the subliminal interrogation?

He spit out, "He's in the mountains"

Got a field expedient method, to get the ole carb more temporary air.I know a jet change, would be better. Remember, we're playing Army here, ain't no luxuries!

When I spit it out, Double check me, Fellow 82nd, man in the clouds--ears a popping!

I'm watching your PLF too!

OK, Raz needs carb info----Name?

No gauge. Do the best we can!

Grab a quart bottle or jar

Put your fuel line to the carb, in it

crank up!

In seconds, how long does it take to get 1/2 a bottle or 1 PINT of gas?

Altitude thing, is out the window now!

Results?

Cant find another name, and it ran fine for that ten mins but then I guess once the carb had to rely on the fuel lines and tank it starts to stall?

I'll get it straight, Raz!

Motorcraft was fine! I'm Guessing? Raz is looking for specs on it---maybe float level etc?

The Jar thing was to see how much fuel, the fuel pump would pump in a given time.

The engine should run and the Carb should be able to feed itself, from the bowls.

You have the feed line to the carb disconnected and stuck in the bottle.

The LINE FROM THE FUEL PUMP is STUCK IN THE BOTTLE,

Crank the engine!

IT'S GONNA START FILLING UP TO THE "QUARTER" (1/4) or "HALF" (1/2) MARK---IN HOW MANY SECONDS?

U.S. Or Metric volume in how many seconds?

Kill the engine, before the bottle overflows!

This is a flow test or volume test, to see if Fuel Delivery is within specs!

Can you get fuel pressure? Gauge must be capable of 0-10 PSI, more is fine, but hard to see 3.5 PSI on a 0-200 gauge!

Half in ten seconds full in 20, but interesting enough the fuel that went into the jar was orangeish color and smelled like varnish and the gas I put in the tank was clear and strong octaine smell
