Car wasn’t starting but after a jump start it would eventually start up and run for a few day, then it wouldn’t start again. Batteries good and alternator is good but again it won’t start. I noticed it’s happening like every four days. Can someone help me please?

Then right before this happened I was driving and noticed the when I take off the car is delaying a little. It’s like there’s no power until I pick up speed but when I put it in reverse it runs fine.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

The first thing I suspect is a poor connection at the battery. When it wouldn't start and you attached jumpers, it may have tightened or moved one of the battery cables on the battery and allowed contact. With that in mind, I would first check that. Here is a link that discusses a similar condition. It shows how to perform what I suggested.

Try that first and let me know the results.

Take care,
Joe
