I was told to get outer and inner wheel bearings. Videos online show replacing Hub assembly. Does my vehicle need a replacement for the hub assembly, or does it have bearings that need to be repacked? Front driver's side only.

Hi,

Since this is a 2wd vehicle, you will be working with the bearings and not a hub assembly. The hub assembly on your vehicle is integral to the brake rotor. Anytime you say Jeep, everyone assumes it's 4wd.

If you look below, I attached the directions for replacing the bearings and seal. Make sure when you do this to keep the spindle clean and undamaged. Make sure everything is properly greased as well.

Here is a link that explains how in general it is done. I find it easier to follow. LOL However, I did attach the directions specific to your vehicle below.

Let me know if you have questions and how things turn out for you.

Take care,

Joe
