Okay, no, the black lead goes to the battery negative post and the red lead is what you test the terminals.

What reads -2? Where are you measuring the voltage?

Correct. Did you check for voltage to both connectors with the red lead?

Is the key on and the coolant sensor disconnected?

Yea, they both are -2 and yes the coolant switch connector is unplugged too.

Okay, go back to the relay and remove it and check for voltage to any of the 4 terminals in the connector.

Okay, so with Caron they test at 14.40 but the one bottom left is 14 and with car off and key for word it reads 12.40, but bottom left 12 and other small fused are 12.40.

Okay, I have been looking at the diagram and there is no way there should be power on all 4 wires. If you do, you have a short in the harness somewhere that is providing power where it should not be having power.

You need to inspect your engine harness and be sure it is not damaged or pinched anywhere.

So what you mean is that there shouldn’t be no power going through or what do you mean?

There should only be 2 powers with the key on. The third wire is a ground done by the ECM and the fourth is the wire to the fan motor.

If you have power on all 4 then there is a short in the harness that is allowing those wires to be powered.
