Car cut off! Stopped running at 70 MPH on the highway! Got it over to the side of road and now won't start again, got it towed to my friends. We charged battery and replaced alternator, ignition coil and hooked it up to an OBD reader. It came back with 111 system pass! We checked the fuel pump and filter, both good and fuel system is under pressure. What are your thoughts? Could it be crank shaft censor? Or timing chain, or did it throw a cam bearing?

If the engines cranks but does not start, then the likely cause of this is a crank sensor.

Here is a guide that will help explain this:

So, I would suggest changing this sensor to start but we should confirm this is not a fuel issue by using starter fluid in the intake and see if the engine fires.

We can also check the fuel pressure, but the starter fluid is quicker.

I attached the process below but please run through this and let us know what you find.

Thanks
