My car stalls out while driving sometimes and hard to start/restart. I have cleaned the MAF sensor and check engine code po440 is there. What do I need to do to fix it? I have been told it is the MAF or the EVAP purge solenoid or possibly the fuel tank pressure sensor.

The engine stalling will have nothing to do with the p0440 code. It sounds more like the fuel pump has let go which is common when it will not start. Can you check the fuel pressure here is a guide to help us:

Ignition switch "on", fuel pump running 48-55 psi.

Please let us know what you find.
