When installing the front stabilizer bar end links, should they be torqued down with the vehicle still raised and the suspension unloaded or after the vehicle has been lowered back onto the ground?

Hello and thanks for your question,

The stabilizer links can be torqued with the vehicle raised. The torque for the end links is 21 ft/lbs, and the torque for the stabilizer bar bracket bolts is 34 ft/lbs.

I will attach the procedure for stabilizer link and bar removal below.

Thanks for using 2Carpros!
William

Removal
1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove the front stabilizer bar link nuts from the front suspension lower arms.
(See image 1)

4. Remove the front stabilizer bar link bolts and the front stabilizer bar links.
(See image 2)

5. Remove the front stabilizer bar. (See image 3)
1 Remove the four bolts and two brackets.
2 Remove the front stabilizer bar.
3 Remove the stabilizer bar insulator.

Installation

Note: In the event the self-tapping bolts cannot be installed in the frame, there is a kit available with flag nuts; consult your parts department for further information.

1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
