I have a 97 Mitsubishi eclipse, 130000 miles, 4cyl.
My question is, my car have this strange smoke that comes from under the hood when im driving? i see and smell the smoke mostly when going fast after getting off of a 60 mph freeway, and i especially see and smell the smoke when driving up a ramp,the smoke is the worst when driving up ramps. the smoke smells like oil, i know the difference between transmission fluid smells and oil smells.
i have an oil leak, i dont know if that has anything to do with it, if so let me know.
please let me know asap, cause i have a date, and having a smokey car is kinda imbarassing to have when driving a lady around lol
