My car is hesitating to accelerate at low speeds, especially from a stop. When it does finally accelerate after stepping on the gas for a few seconds it jerks pretty harshly. No smells or sounds other than a clunk when it jerks. It's fine otherwise.

Unfortunately, we don't have enough info yet to determine if this is a transmission or engine issue yet.

So, let's start with checking all the things that can cause a hesitation and that will tell us where we need to dig further.

Let's start with checking the transmission fluid and see if it is low or in poor condition. Your unit is what is called a dual dry clutch which is basically a manual transmission that is shifted automatically. So, I attached the info below on how to check that.

Then we are going to need to check the fuel pressure. I suspect this is a transmission issue, but it would be good to eliminate this.

Please see the info attached and let me know what you find with this, and the last thing is we will need to check for codes.

Once we gather all this info, I am sure we will be able to figure out the best direction to go. Thanks
