Should the new battery be maintenance free, or one that requires maintenance?

Hi lavallem,

My personal experience is NOT to go for maintenance free batteries. They tends to fail without any indications.

There are near maintenence free ( NF ) batteries availabe and that would be the better option. Not much maintenance is required and the electrolytes takes ages to drop.
