How do I determine which cv axels/joints need replacing and how do I change them?

Hi PrinceChristian,

To determine which side is faulty, first is to check for broken joint boots/bellows.

Look for open space to drive on. While driveing slowly in 2nd gear make full turn and accelerate.

Right trun would mean the left side is faulty and vice versa.

If you are serious about doing the job yourself, I would suggest getting a shop manual. It is not easy to describe the ptocedure.
