1993 Honda Accord 93' Honda Accord stuck in fourth gear

My 93' honda accord is stuck in fourth gear and the D4 light is always lit up. I bought a new tcu/tcm and reset it properly but no fix, im being told it could be a faulty shift solenoid. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Bcammy918,

Retrieve the trouble code and let me know what it is.

Bridge the SCS and turn ignition switch ON, count the blinking of the D4 light.

If the TCM is equipped with a LED window, you can count the blinks from there with ignition switch turned ON.
