Have you got a chance to check the wiring/circuits, like it is stated on the trouble shooting chart?
As you have replaced the parts with no luck, that could be the culprit.
Best option would be to take a step-by-step approach.

The code reader I lent is just a cheap one. I’m not sure it does the job. I’m not sure what to do with wiring.

To test wiring you will need a multimeter. Take a look at this guide. It covers the basics of what to do, and how to test wiring.

I did notice that the area where the temperature sensor was. It was covered in oil. I’m getting the meter and testing things. I know the battery is drained now from setting. Get it charged tomorrow!

So when turning car on to try and start. The check engine light comes on solid then blinks 6-7 times. Looked up cause online. Days cylinder misfire. Think I need to change coil packs? Two of them were soaked in oil.

Did you retrieve the actual code? Like which code number?

Oil-soaked coil pack typically does not function properly. However, if the oil is only on the outside, it might just need to be cleaned and dried out.

I have attached the ignition coil test procedure below for your reference.

I wonder if there is a wiring issue with this vehicle. As these codes can also indicate faulty PCM.
If you are able to test the coils after they dry with a multimeter. That way you will know that the coils are/are not the problem.
Have you got a chance to check those trouble shooting steps?

Let me know the outcome after the coil gets installed.
