1999 gmc sonoma 2.2 4 cylinder 83k

i am having an issue probably about every 10 starts. i will turn the key and no warning lights or noises will come on and then i try to crank the engine and all i get is a clicking noise then it sounds like its sucking air then another click and it just stops, then i start it fine with no problems. but it only happens about every 10 starts. i just cleaned my plugs and checked all my wires to make sure there not loose. any help would be great

sounds to me that your ignition switch is starting to go, take it out and have it tested.
