I turn on key and every thing came on but it would not turn over. Turned key about 5 or 10 times and it starts up. It keeps starting but this is 2nd time it has happened and do not want to get stuck somewhere. Battery does not grind and motor does not turn over. Could it be a key switch or tumbler?

Auto or manual, when it wont crank on the key, you will have to check for power t the starter solenoid, you should have 12V at the small wire with key on crank, if this is so and still no crank, the starter will be faulty, if no power at that wire, may be ignition switch, trans isolator switch if auto or clutch switch if fitted to system (that is if you have to have your foot on the clutch to start car) or a general wiring fault or faulty starter relay.
